On March 2, 2018, he was appointed *Secretary of State to the Minister of Defense, in charge of the National Gendarmerie*. In this role, he oversees the administrative and strategic management of the National Gendarmerie. His role involves political and administrative oversight, ensuring alignment between the security apparatus and the government’s highest priorities.
